It is illegal to "Profile" Terrorists, but it seems "Profiling" American Parents is OK.

It is illegal to "Profile" Terrorists, but it seems "Profiling" American Parents is OK.
Last week, I was told by the American Consulate, Ms. Angie Bryan, in Lyon France that I am no longer allowed to enter any American Consulate in France other than the American Consulates in Marseille and Paris. I have entered the consulate in Lyon before, always without a problem of any kind. I have entered the American Consulate and Embassy in Paris several times, always without problem. I have never been arrested for violence or threatening anyone, at anytime, for any reason. This banishing is to be in effect until August 18th 2012.

Needless to say I was quite shocked.

Why?

I was informed that American parents who had children who had been abducted illegally and requested assistance from the American government were no longer allowed to receive services at the Lyon Consulate because there was not a sufficient Security detail present.

American parents who had not requested assistance from the American government and would therefore not be on the 'Refusal list' would be allowed services equal to other American citizens.

When I expressed my dismay that I was now Black Balled for life solely because my son was abducted against an American Court order, Ms. Bryan was quick to reassure me that it would only last until my son turned 14 yrs of age.

Sadly enough Ms. Bryan did not seem upset with me saying I was "Black Balled".

My Questions:

Is it better to further marginalize citizens who the government feels might not happy?

Or should our government look at groups it identifies as unhappy and see if they can be better served?

Are parents with "Custody problems" automatically security risks?

Who is next? Victims of rape? Democrates? Christians? Evolutionists?

What do you Think?

Hi this is a place to talk about making changes to Family Law to reduce stress for children and families.

50% of margiages end in divorce and too many children suffer because of this. So lets see what we can do.
